Rivermine Software Upgrade Boosts Performance and Grants Customers More Control of Network Cost Savings Analysis
Fortune 1000 Companies Use "Dynamic Exceptions" Tool To Customize Parameters for Analyzing Invoices

Fairfax, VA, November 16, 2004 - Giving customers faster performance and greater control over their network expenditures, Rivermine Software - the leading provider of business applications to manage telecommunications - announced the general availability of Version 3.2 of its inventory-powered software suite. Approximately 40 percent of Rivermine's customers have either implemented or are currently migrating to Version 3.2.

A key feature in 3.2 is "Dynamic Exceptions", a customized tool that gives users improved invoice analysis capabilities and quickly identifies discrepancies. While users previously chose from a pre-developed library of static scenarios for analysis, companies can now customize their own parameters based on elements that are most valuable to them.

The new enhancements are part of Rivermine's expense, process, and analytical software solution, which provides an intuitive and unified way to view, manage, and control nearly all aspects of telecommunications. It integrates many cumbersome tasks such as ordering and provisioning, network analysis, and invoice processing and payment.

"Based on our research and feedback from our customers, having the ability to set your own variables for analyzing bills, by selecting the elements that are most meaningful to your company' is invaluable," said Mark Logan, CEO of Rivermine Software. "All of our upgraded features, including Dynamic Exceptions, support Rivermine's vision to enable companies to reduce telecom expenses, establish process compliance and provide the required networking at an optimal price," said Logan.

In addition to Dynamic Exceptions, other new features of 3.2 include:
- Dynamic Financial Templates - enables users to self-configure invoice layouts or select from a list of existing carrier and service-specific invoices for processing by the Finance Manager module
- Global Table Editor - allows users to store fixed or custom data such as accounting codes, employee data, etc.
- Service Order Manager module upgrade - improved usability through auto-populating data, reducing order entry time
- Wireless Local Number Portability support

Version 3.2 is certified with Oracle 9i®, which significantly speeds Rivermine's software performance.
