Top Telecom Executives Gather at Largest Event in the TEM Industry: 6th Annual Summit on Enterprise Telecom Expense Management
Co-Hosted by Rivermine and IBM, Premier Industry Event Addressed Exploding Wireless Market and TEM Globalization

Fairfax, VA, April 14, 2008 - Focusing on the exploding wireless market and the globalization of telecom expense management (TEM), Fortune 1000 and government stakeholders gathered at the 6th Annual Summit on Enterprise Telecom Expense Management March 12-13, 2008. Co-hosted by Rivermine, the leading provider of automated TEM solutions, and IBM, this premier industry event drew more than 150 registrants to Miami. Industry best practices and case studies were shared by experts at companies who have successfully implemented automated TEM solutions for both wireless and wireline usage.

Rivermine President and CEO Mark Logan opened the Summit by describing the current needs and drivers for companies who are implementing strategic TEM programs. As telecom visibility and accountability are critical to reducing overall spend, companies are looking for solutions that help them manage wireline and wireless expenses in one unified platform. Representing Gartner at the event, Research Vice President Eric Goodness presented the Summit's feature keynote, discussing TEM and the use of outsourcing to gain control over telecom expenditures.

The Summit also included a sold-out Telecom Expense Management Executive certified training course delivered by the Association of Telecom Management Professionals (AOTMP), while the main event included presentations and interactive panel discussions from Boeing, Bridgestone, Continental Airlines, Grant Thornton, IBM, IKON Office Solutions, Kelly Services, Sage Software, and Synovus Financial.
