Think your telecom invoice is high? $20 billion
federal contract takes the cake
Network World reports that the U.S. federal government is expected to
release an RFP for a 10-year, $20 billion telecom order in April titled
the "Networx " program. Networx will provide both legacy and
leading-edge voice, data, and video services to all federal agencies.
The largest pending network deal in the world, Networx has every major
U.S. carrier waiting to pounce. So far, it's been reported that 40
companies have approached the GSA on the program.
If enterprises with annual telecom spend in the millions are already
in need of Telecom Expense Management solutions, Rivermine's federal
team is actively monitoring the progress of this program and how the government will tackle the challenges of managing
